All mountain ski, sandwich construction with Head's liquid metal technology for long life. This season the IM78 replaces its predecessor the IM77. It is exceptionally stable and aquits itself in all types of snow. Superb in wide carved turns, quick edge to edge with excellent grip. Slightly less able in shorter radius turns where the shovel is less present in turn initiation. It has good float in powder snow and is able to make both long and short radius turns, in forests or on tight trails. Cruddy snow does not pose a problem for the IM78.
