Similar to the Fischer X-Pedition the X-Tralite, as its name implies, is a lightweight and soft ski that works well in powder thanks to reasonable surface area. Torsionally rigid it performs well for its class in varied snow conditions and at higher speeds, at least for skiers that are neither too heavy or powerful. The ski is tolerant of errors in technique. It has a turn radius of 18.5m which aids with initiating turns. Shaped skins are available.
