Dynastar Big Trouble

Gear > Ski > Backcountry Freestyle > Dynastar Big Trouble

The Dynastar Big Trouble is for freestylers who see the whole mountain as their park. The ski features wood core construction and full length vertical sidewalls. They perform fairly well on-piste and blast through cruddie snow. You have to muscle the ski in trees and bumps due to their turn radius but this is not their playground. The stiff tip and soft tail combo lets you pop turns. The ski is fairly damp so suits a more dynamic rider. Discuss with your shop if you want to mount the bindings back from the center point for more freestyle than backcountry use. Also consider the shorter lengths for more manoeuvrability.

Reviews

  • Versatile, you can do what you like with the Big Trouble, upturned shovels for landings and riding switch but maybe too much for freeriding. For powerful skiers. - Ski Labo
