Sold as a ski touring version of the Dynastar Legend 4800 the Altiride 4800 has the same weight and sidecut but is presumably a bit softer. The AltiRide 4800 is designed for use in the varied conditions found in typical ski tours - both hard and soft snow. It is a moderately shaped ski with a 74 mm waist. Perhaps a little heavy for extensive ski touring at 3330 grammes but it would suit intermediate to advanced skiers looking for a ski for mixed touring / off-piste use. A forgiving ski that will help skiers build their technique away from the ski slopes.
