This is a nice quiet little climb to the Col du Lauteret (not THE col du Lauteret) by Prabert in the French Belledonne mountains near to Grenoble. The road is an average of 8% but with a few ramps here than there. Road surface is okay but there are annual "chip and seal" campaigns which leave a lot of gravel on the road, ok climbing but not so good descending. The road is on the north-west flank of the mountain and can be icy in the winter months.
