A big ride with Mike from Aime la Plagne to the Petit St Bernard pass. We'd heard it was still closed to traffic from la Ros so thought it would be a good plan. We took the cycle path from Aime to Seez then the main road to la Rosiere, which is a nice even grade but a bit boring. From there the remaining 8km is not too steep, around 4-5%. Half way up the road was blocked by an avalanche which we climbed over then at the col we stopped into the cafe on the Italian side for lunch before heading down. Very tiring on the last leg from Bourg to Aime after a long ride with lots of D+
